Roles & Responsibilities

Research potential vendors

Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers

Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing

Track orders and ensure timely delivery

Review quality of purchased products

Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases

Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices

Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses

Monitor marketing materials and place orders as needed to meet school requirements

May attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends

Maintain an understanding of industry trends, current events, and other information that may impact the business;

Review and analyse all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options

Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies

Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts

Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality

Maintain and update list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development

Establish and maintain good relationships with the Schools various stakeholders;

Establish and support the strategic and operational priorities of Invictus International;

Prepare periodic business reports for Management;

Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

Detailed oriented, thorough and organised to oversee purchases and develop new contracts. Maintain an updated list of current and incoming inventory, and be responsible for approving purchases.

Demonstrated ability to covert prospects, close deals, and achieve sales quotas;

Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer or similar role

Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)

Negotiation skills

Ability to build and maintain professional and lasting relationships with customers;

Strong communication skills;

Meticulous self-starter and executor, with an eye for details and able to work, learn and thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Resilient, resourceful and team player.

Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
