Job Title: Nutrition Science Specialist

Reporting to: Lead- Nutrition Science

Minimum Qualification & Experience: Msc in Nutrition Science with 10 plus of experience in nutrition science especially adult, pediatric and hospital nutrition. Added knowledge of working in Direct to Consumer communication, medico marketing, nutrition healthcare set ups is desirable.

Job Description :

• Early ideation to create a robust mid/ long term plan to develop a pipeline of differentiated product concepts supported by well researched product claims.
• Designing clinical research programme for selected lead based on claims requirements to create differentiation
• Scientific evaluations, funneling and feasibility of innovation opportunities led by external third parties ( through BD/ in-licensing/ third party routes)
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams and engagement at idea refinement phase to develop and translate nutrition science into product messages and claims.
• Networking with product development team and providing nutrition science inputs throughout the product development cycle

· Create nutrition claim support dossiers for regulatory/ internal and external stakeholders

· Provide inputs to concepts, innovation briefs, artworks, communication material and digital media.

Critical Skills Required:

• Ability to get into depth of science to resolve and fill gaps posed by nutrition science challenges and translate them into a win- win product concept and product launch
• Open and transparent
• Ability to take a critical view of shortcomings in product innovation yet problem solve for the appropriate innovation pipeline
• Ability to translate consumer and disease trends into translational nutrition science and concepts
• Clear understanding of approach to science based evaluations and conclusions from a nutrition science perspective
• Ability to lead, problem solve, work in teams and present complex data clearly and simple
• Able to manage cross functional internal and external stakeholders
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills, communication, coordination, and time-management skills
• Open to learning new ways of working
