Roles and Responsibilities

• Reporting to the immediate superior every 3 hourly of the status of wards.

• Ensuring smooth functioning of the IPD areas with maintaining all the TATs as mentioned in the processes.

• Coordinating with the billing department and resolving any issues of Inpatients regarding their bills.

• Ensuring that patients and attendants are aware of the medical status as well as the bill status of the patients.

• Following up with consultants regarding the discharges of the patients and improve on the discharge times of the patients

• Responsible for the correctness of the patient medical records and discharge summaries.

• Responsible for maintaining all the policies and procedures of NABH and dashboards

• To ensure proper housekeeping of the workplace.
