Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Science, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Foundational experience on Cloud Platforms (i.e., Google Cloud Platform).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certification in PMP, Prince2, or SCRUM.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and motivating technical teams while leading operational transformation projects resulting in efficiency improvements, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
  • Experience in developing technical solutions and tools in partnership with product engineering and business teams and working with process management systems, such as Kaizen, Six Sigma, or Lean.
  • Understanding of Google’s Cloud product capabilities with the ability to understand the technology behind Cloud products and make feasibility assessments on requirements.

As a part of the Google Cloud Vendor Management Organization (VMO), you will help manage all extended workforce needs across Google Cloud, including but not limited to extended workforce strategy, vendor partner selection, governance and operations, and performance management.

In this role, you will strategize and manage our global outsourced engineering operations for Google Cloud products, providing excellent customer service. You will make cloud engineering delivery a competitive advantage for Google by developing efficient workflows and designing new services that will provide faster and better support to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the strategy and implementation plan for PSO Delivery Center vendor operations, in partnership with PSO onshore teams and other Delivery Center locations. Manage and coach a team of vendor Program Managers to drive operations.
  • Drive business results by tracking key operational metrics, identifying process improvement opportunities and managing strategic project plans to completion.
  • Manage vendor performance and deliver excellent services to a global customer base. Ensure high quality delivery by putting in place the right processes, metrics, vendor contracts, quality frameworks, workflow documentation and the like.
  • Manage and coach a technical engineering team that supports Cloud deliveries.
  • Provide strategic insights and lead continuous improvement efforts in customer satisfaction and partner with onshore teams and other Delivery Center locations on initiatives to drive business growth.
