Customer Service:

  • Provide speedy & effective Customer Service.
  • Following all service standards laid down.
  • Serving the customer to their satisfaction
  • Ensuring customer feedback forms are collected on a daily basis
  • In case of complaining customers, taking suitable action to solve the complaints
  • Keeping the Caf Manager informed of all the complaints
  • Responsible for table turnover
  • Constantly employing suggestive selling practices to make the customers aware
  • Ensuring that the customer feedback forms are filled & collecting them on a daily basis

Caf Opening Duties:

  • Setting up the counter for the days operation
  • Receipt of food & milk
  • Receipt city store items like coffee beans, cold coffee mix, cups & stationery
  • Checking the equipments (pastry cooler, AC, microwave, mixie, refrigerator, ice cube machine, freezer) for cleanliness & ensure they are in proper working condition.
  • Cleanliness of the Caf interiors, exterior & servery

Caf Closing Duties:

  • Cleanliness of all equipment & thorough cleaning of the Caf
  • Checking the physical stock in assistance with the Caf In-charge
  • Ensure food beyond shelf life is discarded & food to be retained overnight is stored at proper temperature
  • Assist the Manager in compiling reports & updating registers etc.

Cashiering:

  • Ensuring the printer is in working condition
  • Ensuring the till has minimum float to start with
  • Ensuring printer rolls & KOT pads are properly stacked
  • Intimating the manager of the login password
  • Login out & proper handing over physical count of cash to the next person – in the presence of the Caf Manager – every time leaving the cash counter
  • Ensuring that only company approved software is used in the billing computer
  • Ensuring KOT & Bills are made for every order
  • Ensuring transfer-in & GNR entries are entered for the day
  • Generating the necessary reports
  • Filing of reports

Cold Coffee Production/Food Service:

  • Ensuring that the recipes of cold coffee & cool drinks are adhered to
  • Ensuring that the pastry cooler display is set up using appropriate tent cards
  • The temperature of the refrigerator, freezer & ice cube machine are of desired level
  • Ensuring that the microwave, mixie & oven are in working condition
  • Ensuring that the shelf life of food is followed strictly & FIFO is maintained for storage
  • Ensuring that the food is dispensed at standardized service temperature
  • Ensuring that the food is handled using disposable gloves/tongs & never with bare hands
  • Ensuring that the servery is kept clean & hygienic and avoid all sources of contaminations
