Roles and Responsibilities

  • Identifies Industrial Customers and establishes strong relationships for product selling and cross sell of SKF's portfolio of bearings and products. Customer visits and technical support are mandatory. Customers primarily include those in the Heavy Machinery, Chemicals, Fertilizers, Steel, Cement, FMCG, Sugar , Power Industry.
  • Maintains relationships with clients by providing technical support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new products, maintenance products, Condition Monitoring of key machinery.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information of end Industrial Customers. Study of Engineering Application is necessary and mandatory.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards. SKF has strict compliance policies.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by organizing Technical Seminars at key customers.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing an overall Sales Target of Rs. 25 Lakhs per month.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Has a strong background in Mechanical Engineering and an overall work experience of 1-3 years. Candidate should have a good understanding of the Industrial Sales Segment.
  • Marketing and Sales Skills are essential. Customer Handling/ Client relationship abilities are key.
  • Attention to Client's technical needs is needed.
  • Willing to devote atleast 50% of his/her time to customer visits/relationship building.
  • Establishing SKF's key presence and prowess in the Industrial Segment.
  • Meeting Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Sales goals. A total sales of approximately 3 Crores is expected annualy from the Customer Sales Engineer.
  • Dedicated towards establishing our brand presence.
  • Sales Planning/execution.
