Inviting applications for position of Marketing Technology Manager

This individual will work in partnership with the Marketing Operations team and will serve as a liaison between IT and marketing operations to support an end-to-end coordinated marketing stack. The candidate will also be responsible for supporting the implementation of new technology - then assumes management, training, new technology roll-outs, trouble-shooting, administration and change management.

The individual will function as the lead in the automation of processes and help orchestrate development of solutions with the marketing operations and growth operations teams.

The successful candidate must have technical depth and a passion for marketing – as well as a track record of willingness and ability to work collaboratively and effectively across departments and boundaries to deliver on project objectives. The ability to run multiple tasks and project simultaneously, own results end-to-end, and prioritize workload effectively are all key to success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with marketing operations, IT and vendors to ensure coordinated implementation and deployments
  • Partner closely with peers and leaders to support implementation of major business initiatives across the company
  • Understand standard methodology marketing processes and align technology solutions to optimize those processes across the business
  • Help select and provide comparisons for marketing technology solutions (at times to support core system integrations)
  • Ensure Marketing products meet security and legal requirements
  • Lead proof of concept efforts to quickly test and validate new solutions in marketing
  • Keep current with the latest technologies and advise on their implications for the organization
  • Interacts with technology to ensure the successful implementation of business intent
  • Analyzes new business requirements, figures out current performance, and builds and handles detailed project plans to implement improvements and/or corrective actions
  • Partners in the development of training and adoption materials to support initiatives

Qualifications we seek in you!

  • Degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or related field or equivalent experience (preferably degree in both computer science and marketing)
  • Experience with implementing Marketo and a multi-channel marketing automation stack
  • Experience in handling end to end marketing stack
  • Experience in integrating marketing technology with enterprise applications
  • Shown system configuration and administration experience

  • Fast paced, with the ability to self-manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Outstanding organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to use creative thinking to identify and solve problems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively between different subject areas (development, creative, marketing, admissions, etc.) and personality types
