CONTEXT

  • This position is a revenue generation role that is expected to pitch and close Non-FCT sales within the BU. This team is responsible for solving clients’ brand-related problem statements through Advertiser Funded Properties, content led integrations, IPs, Co-Branded content etc.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Experience of having managed a team generating a min of 20 to 25 Cr from Branded Content, collaboratively working in a cross functional ecosystem.
  • Responsible to identify and execute growth opportunities, drive collaboration _fpr brand solution business
  • Build a shared culture of innovation and execution excellence to drive business growth.
  • The position is expected to constantly leverage all of the insights from content, technology, sales & marketing and finance to develop strategies to stay ahead of consumer expectations. This includes focusing on
  • emerging trends and future outlook to build Network competitiveness and growth.
  • Needs to know the art of marrying content with commerce and redefining native advertising in an Indian context with cost effective media strategies.
  • Play a key role in shaping up a new paradigm of content-led consultative sales for the news cluster of the group.

PERFORMANCE MEASURES

  • Understanding the brand & its requirement and sharing a customized content plan
  • Achievement of the assigned revenue targets
  • Gathering market intelligence with respect to Competition, Clients, Agencies and overall business landscape to further our business objectives
  • Developing preferred channel partnerships with market

QUALIFICATION

  • Minimum Qualification: MBA or Postgraduate
  • Must have worked in related sales role or similar industries for minimum 8 to 10 years.
  • Strong knowledge of B2B sales and agency linked markets will be an added advantage

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Ability to drive and achieve sales targets.
  • Wanting to ideate on briefs to provide customized solutions
  • Leverages relationships & is a capable networker.
  • Should be adept at MS- Office tools like Word, Excel and PowerPoint
