Program & Project Management role for technology-led social innovation projects globally

Summary of Position

Looking for a highly energetic, driven person to join our team as Program Manager for global social innovation projects. This is a multi-faceted role which includes Program, Product Management and Deployment of digital transformation projects in health, education, and financial inclusion.

The Social Innovation team is a fast-paced, startup-style team within Dell with a mandate to drive technology enabled social impact initiatives through partnerships. A flagship Social Innovation project is Digital LifeCare; Dell is partnering with Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India on the Ayushman Bharat public health program which is reaching hundreds of millions of people for preventive screening and management of non-communicable diseases. Social innovation projects in other countries include mapping connectivity for schools, digital identity to increase access to financial services, and Digital Twins for personalized healthcare.

The PM will work with ecosystem partners and facilitate collaboration towards the design, development, and deployment of social innovation projects. S/he actively liaise with the key stakeholders including technology partners, Government and institutional partners for the successful deployment and monitoring of these projects. Collaborating with partners, s/he will track the project plans to ensure the timely execution of all the deliverables across all phases from conceptualization, partner onboarding, design, development, and implementation of the projects.

The role includes:

• Support on ecosystem collaboration – building and managing partnerships. Responsible for program management of multiple collaboration projects.
• As part of Social Innovation team, work with internal and external stakeholders to conceptualize and design SI projects.
• Work with internal Dell experts and product team to shape product strategy through research, analysis and market study. Communicate product roadmap clearly to all stakeholders.
• Translate high level inputs into clear requirements by engaging actively with required stakeholders. Provide timely clarifications on requirements over the course of the project lifecycle
• Work with stakeholders for the successful deployment and adoption of IT systems. Track performance and manage reporting.
• Responsible for doing demos, training for stakeholders, supporting partners and resolving issues
• Coordinate with research partners on studies, pilots and workshops.
• Manage the project plan. Write concise project documentation, make impactful presentations

Skills and Experience: The ideal candidate will have a blend of engineering project, product management, basic technology, and solution deployment skills.

• A degree in IT, CS engineering with 11 years of experience and/or MBA / Master's degree with 9+ years of experience.
• A strong passion for innovations that matter to society; appetite to work on a nation-scale project.
• Experience in the health or education domains with a good understanding of Government ecosystems a plus
• Experience in defining and successfully deploying large-scale IT systems
• Exposure to modern IT trends and capabilities such as mobile, cloud, and data analytics.
• An entrepreneurial attitude; must be a good fit in a startup style environment. Strong research skills
• Understanding of software product and services deployment lifecycle a plus; keen attention to detail
• Creative, innovative and out-of-the-box thinking
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must.
