- The radiologist is responsible for efficient functioning of the department
- Overall Upkeep and maintenance of the equipment within the department is his/her responsibility.
- Renders reports for all investigations: ensures proper patient care and speedy disposal of patients.

- Ensures that radiation safety norms are followed.
- Is responsible for ensuring Total Quality Management within the department with regular audits of film quality.
- Ensures that all emergency drugs and equipment for treating adverse contrast reactions are maintained in the department.
- Ensures that there is a nurse present during procedures requiring IV contrast study.
- The radiologist on call attends promptly to all calls outside of the normal working hours.
- He/ She actively participates in all quality & accreditation related initiatives of the hospital

Madhuraj Hospital blossomed in 1983 due to the untiring efforts of Dr. Madhu Loomba & Dr. Raj Loomba. In the year 2000, Dr. Dev Loomba & Dr. Akanksha Loomba after having completed their medical education joined hands with their parents and further strengthened the team of Madhuraj Hospital. Since then they are striving hard to continuously contribute to the growth of the hospital.
