The Production Engineer role involves planning for the manufacture and overseeing the manufacture of the project till dispatch within the set timeline.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Material Estimation and Indenting for projects.
• Manpower estimation job wise for the project.
• Ensure optimal usage of man, material and machine.
• Developing Cutting plans for processing raw material
• Generating Daily Work Assignment with expected results defined and monitored.
• Shop floor supervision of individual operations - shearing, welding, forming, testing and painting.
• Control of issued material with marking of individual parts, sub assemblies and final product
• Visit Customer installations to solve issues, install supplied products where required.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of reading Engineering Drawings.
• Fundamental knowledge of Manufacturing Technology
• Experience in fabrication using plates, sheets advantageous
• Performing hand calculations (empirical) involving principles of Mechanical Engineering.
• Specific NDT, Welding certifications a bonus
• Any Bellow or Pressure Vessel exposure desirable.
• Graduate (Diploma/Bachelors in Engineering)
