From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the representation of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

As an Android Product Marketing Manager for Google in India, you will be responsible for building and establishing Android as the OS of choice across varied consumer groups in India. You will be part of a high performing team which will define product strategy using the right user insights and value propositions, leading co-marketing campaigns with external partners in India, and closely collaborating with other product areas within Google.

In this role, you will work closely with our Android cross-functional teams, and regional and global marketing teams in building the Android user strategy, executing high impact campaigns, and analysis. You will also be working with external original equipment manufacturer (OEM), carrier, and retail partners to build an Android ecosystem. Finally, your work will also require you to work with multiple partners and agencies, both creative and media, and inspire them to co-create meaningful and high impact campaigns. Responsibilities

  • Work with our OEM, carrier, and retail partners to drive adoption of Android through co-marketing campaign schemes.
  • Propose and secure budgets. Operate expenditures to drive the execution, track results, and return on investment (ROI) to report back to marketing teams in the region.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders across Google to evaluate the marketing opportunities from a strategic, financial, and operational perspective. Shape creative, monitor, and evaluate performance, and share campaign learnings with relevant teams.
  • Advocate for users in India, showcasing the unique market nuances of this region through deep insights and shepherding product and brand development that can best serve the needs of users in India.
