o Responsible for the fundamental technology work of architecting designing building the core frameworks for our cloud-based system platforms and end to end solutions, including building cloud platform and performance components.
o Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, tools, and platforms and must have an understanding of systems engineering principles derived from experience.
o Collaborate with critical stakeholders to understand business needs, priority, and the quality of services to be created or enhanced.
o Ability to manage multiple projects against specific timelines
o Ability to communicate, understand and effectively work with our clients to articulate their requirements and challenges.
o Implement CRDs based on customer requirements.
o Design & Implement a CI/CD for building and testing CRDs
Skill Set:
o Strong Experience in Unix/Linux system, files systems and an added advantage to have shell scripting.
o Love Upstream Kubernetes, love to learn
o 6-8+ years' experience of working on distributed systems
o 3-4 years’ experience of working on managing and building Kubernetes services.
o In-depth understanding of compute, storage, network components including backup, monitoring, Database, Security, Identity and DR environment requirements.
o Must have prior hands-on experience with automation of infrastructure and code provisioning.
o Hands on experience on building and managing Kubernetes clusters, Strong Knowledge on Kubernetes, Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs), implement multiple CRDs
o Knowledge in Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CI/CD Tools (Pipelines, GitOps, Jenkins), Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Upbound.
o Strong knowledge on cloud platforms: Azure, AWS (Good to have)
o Experienced in deploying multi-tenant cloud environments with fine grain access controls.
o Certification in container orchestration systems (i.e. Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), and/or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Application Development) would be consider as a plus
