Responsibilities

The Role demands a qualified professional who can work on the Trade promotions, understand the criticality of the role, understand the minute details of the promotions and work on them without any disconnect.

  • The trade promotion Specialist will be responsible for delivering the activities assigned and working on trade promotion management tools used by the client
  • Process promotions related requests into the system within the agreed SLA from the date the request was received
  • Prepare the slides with the required products after the confirmation of promotions are processed into the system.
  • Fill in the template with the information about conditions to hit the Net invoice value only in case the owner of the process is off based on the requests received from Account Manager and share within the requested deadline (SLAs agreed)
  • Make sure the daily tracker has been filled up accurately with the incoming and outgoing requests
  • Provide support documentation for audit when it is requested
  • Ensuring meeting all required activities in a timely and compliant manner, especially the one from month end as per procedure
  • Ensures that the performance objectives (KPIs) / process delivery time (SLAs) set under the contract are fulfilled
  • Act as back up for the activities assigned based on cross-training
  • Proposes and implements the solution for new clients, acting as an SME for the process/processes
  • Proposes, sets, and implements the best operational practices across the team and ensures homogenous and comprehensive knowledge among all the team members
  • Designs transformation projects to deliver financial and productivity benefits to the customer following the contractual clauses concluded with the client
  • Ensure the creation of the Standard Operating Procedure for the processes managed, updates and validates them before sending them to the customer for sign-off, ensuring that they are accurate, comprehensive, and explained logically, tailored to the process needs
  • Successfully finalizing the training plan related to the role hold and tasks
  • Providing training and preparing other team members with regards to the daily tasks whenever It is necessary or requested by the manager
  • Periodically updating of the working procedures
  • Developing implementation activities of new systems/applicable tools to the processes in scope
  • Participated in different projects, initiatives within Genpact
  • Leverage relationships with sales and customers to achieve financial services efficiencies
  • Support functional groups i.e. HR, Operations, Transformation, Transitions
  • Work/Align with BSD and or client PMO group
  • Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with key customer stakeholders
  • Establish a strong collaborative relationship with Clients, Sales, and Customers
  • Proactive and Self-motivated to follow up or chase with multiple teams for pending information
  • Regular query resolution and proactive communication/escalation
  • Manage and lead calls with clients
  • Ensure reporting both for client and Genpact management for Operations review- Regular and timely reporting
  • Identify problems/issues in day to day Operations and resolve them proactively
  • Highlight and escalate any issues that need attention

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree / Graduates from a recognized university with relevant work experience in Trade Promotions Claims Management
  • Understanding FMCG retail and customer structures
  • Excellent performance track record and highly disciplined
  • Transitions Experience- transitioned 1 or more process successfully
  • PowerPoint skills & Excellent MS Excel (intermediate to advanced level)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and management
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and partner on multiple activities
  • Proficiency with any System applications (SAP, TPM (Trade Promotions Management), TPO (Trade Promotions Optimizer), and/or any other ERP- Minimum 3+ Years of experience working on any of the above tools or ERP
  • Adapts quickly to change in a dynamic organizational structure
  • Hard-working and with the ability to perform well in challenging complex environments, working well under pressure, and prioritizing within tight deadlines
  • Good presentation, influencing, and communication skills - Verbal and non-verbal
  • Ability to work with all Microsoft Office programs (advanced excel knowledge)
  • Self-starter and have analytical, problem-solving skills
  • Ability to balance customer governance meetings

Preferred qualifications

  • Graduate and above
  • Deductions and/or Trade Claims Management Certification
  • Fair knowledge of Customer Development and/or Trade promotions management
  • MIS and/or reporting experience
  • Visio skills and process mapping experience
  • Overall candidate should have a problem solving, and analytics approach
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
