JOB SPECIFICATION:

• A Masters or Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in this position.
• Strong analytical, observational, and problem-solving skills.
• A good record of attending conferences and academic events.
• A passion for teaching and engaging with students.
• Patience, understanding, and willingness to help.
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications.
• Should be good in Communication, Email and Telephone etiquette.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Teaching courses on human anatomy, physiology, and related topics.
• Conducting independent research related to human anatomy.
• Preparing course materials such as syllabus, homework assignments, exams, and handouts.
• Design, prepare and develop courses, modules.
• Teaching students about human anatomy through classroom lectures and laboratory experiments.
• Designing and overseeing the construction of models or computer simulations of human body structures.
• Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials.
• Coordinate with other Lecturer to develop and implement new methods of teaching to reflect changes.
• Set, mark and moderate examinations and assessments.
• Contribute to professional conferences and seminars in your field of expertise
• Support students through a pastoral or advisory role
• Undertake individual and collaborative research projects that are published in peer-reviewed journals and actively contribute to your institution's research profile
• Performing any other duties as assigned by management from time to time.
• Coordinating special events and activities for the department or university.
