Qualification Details:

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up of the Junior Research Fellow on contract basis for funded project (funded by Michael J Fox foundation for Parkinson’s research) entitled “Genetic Architecture of Parkinson’s disease in India” under Dr. Pramod Kumar Pal, Professor of Neurology and Principal Investigator.

1. Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

3. Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Life Sciences (Genetics/Biochemistry/Zoology/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Neurosciences or related subjects)/ M.Tech. in Biotechnology/ Genetic Engineering with experience in methods/tools/techniques used in genetics research. Preference will be given to the candidates who have worked and published research papers on human genetic disorders.

4. Desirable Qualification: Experience in processing of blood samples, nucleic acid extraction, and genotyping.

6. Emoluments: Rs. 41,600 (Consolidated)
