Summary & Key Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of SME / TL, provides administrative support to the underwriting team within an assigned LOB/function. Actively participates in the underwriting process to support Policy Administration / Underwriting Support Activities (Submissions (New business and Renewals), Quotations, Policy Issuance, Renewals, Endorsements and Cancellations)

Key Responsibilities

  • Process property and casualty insurance transactions to include but not limited to quotes for new and renewal business, endorsements, cancellations, loss runs, submissions, premium reports and miscellaneous items in accordance with established department guidelines.
  • Service new and renewal accounts for change requests to be reviewed by underwriters.
  • Communicate with external and internal customers to achieve the highest level of customer service. Ensures accurate and timely servicing of accounts.
  • Develop and maintain proficiency in providing accurate processing and servicing of business.
  • Provides additional general support to the team as needed for workflow optimization.

Minimum Experience/Education

  • College Graduate degree in any stream
  • 3 years of experience in supporting the processing of property & casualty insurance transactions
  • Policy Administration / Underwriting Support New Business, Submissions, Quotations, Policy Issuance, Renewals, Endorsements and Cancellations
  • Claims: Loss Data Entry, Claims Logging / Triage, Claims Processing and Liability
  • Should have experience working in night shift – 6:00 PM IST to 7:00 AM IST
  • Should be ready to work in night shift – 6:00 PM IST to 7:00 AM IST (US Process – Permanent Night Shift)
  • Should be willing to wok hands-on as processor (Associate – Underwriting Support / Backend data entry operations)
  • Good organizational and time management skills required.
  • Should have good communication and email etiquettes.
  • Should be able to explain previous experience (Project / Process) thoroughly
  • Strong customer service approach required.
  • WFH was provided only during Covid-19 pandemic, we are in the process of bringing back people to office and candidates should be open to work from office.
