Roles and Responsibilities

• Counseling patients/patient attendants and clarifying their credit payment and Insurance related queries
• Evaluates credit history and bill amount is within the approved amount
• Collect and check documents from patient/patient attendants and gets their signature in the document whenever required
• Intimate the case history to the company and Insurance in coordination with the medical officer
• Follow up of the intimation letter (preauthorization letter)
• Take daily approval for special cases/multiple complication, routinely approvals to be taken for operation and special cases
• Checks for identification proof of the patient and enclose those documents with preauthorization set
• Send enhancement letter to the Insurance Company wherever required
• Gives estimation for special approvals and gives clearance for discharges
• Counseling of patient and patient attendants on their queries
• Give the approval for appropriate investigation.
• Ensures that the final bill is processed to insurance / corporate company with all the required documents on time for final approval whenever necessary
• Developing SOPs and streamlining systems related to corporate department
• Visiting corporate / TPA offices for developing effective client relations
• Making decisions of all emergencies in liaison with respective departments to assess the viability of cases

Desired Candidate Profile

Education Qualification: Graduation - UG/PG

Experience: 3 to 5 Years

Hospital Background experience required.
