Basic Functions/ Job Responsibility:

Operations:

• Develop and execute strategy for outreach, attracting and onboarding deserving and qualified technology start-ups.
• Be the switchboard for startups to access relevant resources and connections by understanding requirements of start-ups and extend necessary support by interfacing with the various stakeholders.
• Collating the monthly info of the current startup as well as alumni start-ups graduating out of the program as well as track the startups.
• Scheduling/coordinating the pitch session for shortlisted start-ups for the incubation program with the steering committee.
• Work with the Warehouse Steering Committee for the full success of the Warehouse
• Monitor costs and expenses and P&L of respective Startup Warehouse account.
• Maintain all the income and expenses
• Work with relevant Government departments to manage the smooth operations of the warehouse facility.

Stakeholders Management:

• Identify potential members to be NIPP partners and help them with relevant details on a regular basis.
• Work closely with the NASSCOM regional team to apprise and engage members on our startup initiatives to strengthen membership.
• Be the face of the 10,000 Startups program across the northern region (Gurugram, Panchkula, Chandigarh, Panipat, Faridabad, Palwal, Rohtak, Hisar, Karnal, Ambala, Jind, and Sonipat).
• Ability to prepare proposals for various government initiatives for startups.
• Engaging with various departments of respective state government (Gurugram) and helping them with their implementation of state startup/procurement policies.
• Support the startups in cities outside Gurugram through Virtual incubation program.
• Build relationships with technology research organizations/academic institutions to explore opportunity of collaboration with startup ecosystem.
• Build and manage investor community in the region to help with a reliable platform for startups.

Engagement Activities:

• End to End management of event / workshop / meet-ups planned at startup warehouse or in the region.
• Extend necessary help in running the Programs & Events at the Warehouse and also support partners meetings.
• Work closely with internal teams of industry partnership and global trade to ensure participation of the community
• Bring industry partners – angels, VCs, mentors, industry leaders to visit the Warehouse and contribute to its success.
• Identify and curate startups for any of the 10,000 Startups sub-programs, international ecosystem partner programs & NASSCOM events.
• Guide and support startups on fundraising activity and Go-To Market strategies

Other Responsibilities:

• Acting as In-house Entrepreneur.
• Planning and coordinating Warehouse activities, manage schedules and deadlines.
• Maintain all databases including financial and staff reports & prepare expenses budget and operate within its limits.
• Ensure operations adhere to compliance policies and regulations.
• Continuously gather data/insights from internal and external stakeholder on the industry and provide key analytics and insights.
• Cross leverage the network, internal /external resources and stakeholders to create value for the community.
  

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience:

Graduate/post graduate with 8+ years of experience in startups / running community platforms

• Self-Driven and proactive.
• Innovative thinker & Process driven.
• Ability to build and manage external and internal relationships.
• Team Player.
• Proactive in any situation.
• Strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong interest in technology, startups, entrepreneurship.
