Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for evaluation including diagnosis, management and stabilization of Critically ill patients.
• Coordinating the research and academic activities for the Pediatrics critical care department
• Ensuring comprehensive team work at medical and paramedical levels
• Monitoring the training programs of the medical and paramedical staff on a regular basis
• Streamlining of all the processes and coordination with the ancillary hospital units like pharmacy, biomedical, nursing, labs to ensure competent patient care.
• ICU on call 24 x 7 x 365
• Responsible for smooth running of Intensive care units both clinically and administratively
• Regular follow ups of patients admitted under critical care medicine
• Coordinating research and academic activities of the department
• Any other tasks assigned by the HOD/ management from time to time.
