We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in the building material industry. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and business growth within the Delhi and Delhi NCR region. Your primary focus will be on generating new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key clients, and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and target potential customers in the building material industry within Delhi and Delhi NCR.
  2. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business growth and meet sales targets.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, contractors, builders, developers, and other key decision-makers in the industry.
  4. Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  5. Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and attending industry events.
  6. Present and demonstrate the company's products and services to potential clients, highlighting their benefits and competitive advantages.
  7. Prepare and deliver persuasive sales proposals and quotations, addressing customer requirements and objectives.
  8. Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring profitable pricing and terms for both the company and the customer.
  9. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.
  10. Stay updated on industry developments, new product launches, and emerging trends to provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients.
  11. Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and prepare regular sales reports for management.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. A degree in civil engineering or a similar technical discipline will be advantageous.
  2. Proven track record of success in business development and sales within the building material industry, with at least [X] years of relevant experience.
  3. In-depth knowledge of the building material industry, including products, market trends, and key players in Delhi and Delhi NCR.
  4. Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
  5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  6. Ability to work independently and proactively, with a self-motivated and target-driven mindset.
  7. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads, track sales activities, and generate reports.
  8. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Delhi and Delhi NCR as required.
  9. Knowledge of local building regulations, construction practices, and industry standards will be a plus.
  10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and propose effective solutions.
