Your Responsibilities

  • Support the CTI Manager on management of Oral Care CTI consumer insights workstream, for all key projects and activities.
  • Have an in depth understanding of consumers (their habits and attitudes, drivers), category, brands, and competitive environment to generate, develop and support insights for superior mixes
  • Help in the analysis of trends, consumer needs, new technology impact on consumers, and consumer/market/product insights to identify new opportunities for the business.
  • Independently manage and co-ordinate consumer studies from end to end to support project networks. Be proficient in designing the brief, getting proposals from the agency, commissioning the study, monitoring progress, data analysis and interpretation and sharing of the results on time.
  • Embrace new ways of doing research and adapt.
  • Understand and Interpret Sensory Panel data to help the team make the right choices.
  • Engage with key stakeholders for communication of insights and results of consumer studies on a regular basis.
  • Work with a cross cultural team with ease and build trust.
  • Engage with cross functional teams to understand requirements and suggest suitable actions, appropriate for the problem.
  • Act as advocate of the consumers on projects to translate consumer needs & insights into technical targets for winning products.
  • Cataloguing of Information to ensure access to information by all in a transparent manner.

Relevant Experience

  • 5+ years of Experience in Consumer research and insights experience – having worked on both qualitative and quantitative research. Understanding of Unilever research protocols is a key criterion for preference.
  • Candidates with relevant experience in product testing will be preferred.
  • Bachelor qualification in sciences or equivalent (e.g., chemistry, microbiology, biology, pharma).
  • Bachelor or Masters/ PGDM course in management – business mngt, marketing or consumer research preferred
