Accounts Payable Specialist

Invoice Processing:

• Verify and process vendor invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure accurate coding of expenses and adherence to GST and TDS regulations.

Vendor Management:

• Maintain effective communication with vendors to address inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Regularly reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding issues.3

Payment Processing:

• Prepare and process payment batches, including electronic transfers and cheque payments.
• Ensure adherence to TDS regulations while making payments.

SAP Expertise:

• Utilize SAP accounting software for invoice processing, payment transactions, and reporting.
• Generate reports as needed for management and audit purposes.

Compliance:

• Stay abreast of changes in Indian accounting regulations, GST, and TDS laws.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements related to accounts payable processes.

Recordkeeping:

• Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements by providing relevant data.

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains in the accounts payable function.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices.
