Job Details

HEALTHCARE/HOSPITAL EXPERIENCE IS MUST.

  • This position is fully responsible for the accounts and finance department and being accountable for departments activities and performance.
  • Will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
  • Daily involvement in operations to ensure and effective execution of account activity
  • Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute all financial audits and satisfy the external and internal auditors.
  • Ensure entire statutory compliance related to the department in time.
  • To provide the entire MIS and budgeting on regular basis to the corporate accounts and finance department.
  • Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.
  • Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly, quarterly and annual financial information.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of positive pay transactions.
  • Ensure the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Supports budget and forecasting activities.
  • Collaborates with the other finance department members to support overall department goals and objectives.
  • Advises staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions.
  • Responds to inquiries from the Corporate Accounts and Finance
  • Support Corporate Accounts and Finance with special projects and workflow process improvements.
  • Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
  • Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.
  • Handle personnel issues relating to staff conflicts, absenteeism, performance issues, etc.
  • Work with each direct report to establish goals and objectives for each year and monitor and advise on the progress to enhance the professional development of staff.
  • Departmental Manpower planning, Selection & retention of employees
  • Coordinating with quality team &implementation of departmental SOPs.

  • Discipline of Staff & disciplinary proceedings
  • Training - Departmental SOPs, HIS etc.
  • On the job training and support should be given.
  • Encourage your staff to improve themselves and the quality of their work.
  • Training cards to be maintained - copy to be sent to HR on quarterly basis.

  • Performance Management – HOD is expected to track the progress of each individual's activities and effectiveness, review them and offer feedback and counseling
  • Appraisals - daily record in the departmental register (any additional responsibility handled; defaulters if any) - employees should be aware of their rating and must sign on their appraisal. Timely submission of Appraisals to HR Department.
