The role sits within the Data Control Team where our purpose is to minimise the risk of data issues impacting on customer rectifications.

Level: CL9

What you'll be doing:

• Collaborate with the Stakeholders and understand the entire data architecture and work towards creating a plausible solution
• Delivering the end-to-end assurance activity of individual rectifications to protect our customers from data errors or issues.
• Collaborating with different Retail stakeholders throughout the rectification lifecycle, including colleagues from Design & Delivery and Data Engineering roles.
• Seeing opportunities to accelerate and simplify the Data Control Framework whilst maintaining a customer centric approach.
• Working with our colleagues in in the wider rectification teams to use existing standard methodologies and support reusability of any new solutions.
• Performing robust rectification planning with early visibility of risks and identification of solutions to mitigate or minimise those risks.

We’re looking for people who have:

• Experience with BFSI/ Insurance/ Retail clients as a part of previous experience
• Experience of coding in SQL and / or SAS with the ability to validate, query and create datasets using code.
• Experience of validating data development activities with an awareness of data risks and controls.
• High levels of attention to detail, ensuring information is accurate and logical, aligned with ability to quickly identify and assess key issues.
• Experience of working in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple priorities.
• Ability to organise and run several key pieces of work simultaneously and at pace, whilst maintaining high standards and setting expectations with stakeholders
• Confident at communicating with Clients & senior colleagues and being able to build strong, collaborative relationships.

What we would like to see (mandatory but not required):

• Any DW experience like Oracle/ Teradata/ GDW
• Redress and Rectifications experience
• Experience – between 3 ~ 4 yrs.
