Responsibilities

The engineering manager will work closely with team members across our locations including researchers, research fellows, research interns and other engineers to help drive our end-to-end engineering efforts. The ideal candidate will embrace not only blending research and engineering but also blending IC and management work and will appreciate our engineering mantra of, "We do whatever it takes to ship." This means responsibilities will range from mentoring research fellows and helping with management and logistic tasks to facilitate smooth work by team members in India to diving into technical problems such as helping with perf optimization or algorithm design for programming language, ML and other AI work and even helping with partner relationship management.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in software development

Preferred Qualifications

• BA/BS or MS Degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent additional years of professional experience in lieu of degree
• Professional experience programming in C#, Typescript or Python
• Experience managing teams of software engineers through the entire development life cycle
• Must be able to work closely with other engineers and researchers on the team
