Cloud Engineer, Full Stack, Global Delivery Center

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 5 years of experience with Java and one or more general purpose programming languages.
  
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL), and in troubleshooting problems across services and functional areas.
  
• Experience in leading application modernization projects or application architecture projects.
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working with two or more of the following: web application development, Unix/Linux environments, Cloud native application development, distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval, mainframe/iSeries knowledge or networking.
• Knowledge of Developer Operations, including within the context of containers (e.g., Kubernetes).
  
• Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries including partners, build relationships, and collaborate ideas to achieve organizational goals.

• Develop technologies to accelerate the Google Cloud journey from legacy monolithic applications. Bring fresh ideas from all areas, including testing and validation automation while maintaining the production availability, conversion automation, distributed computing, and large-scale system design.
  
• Be versatile and enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack.
  
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
  
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
  
• Work with Google Cloud Platform strategic partner to accelerate the delivery.
