Responsibilities

  • Responsible for proposing individual task journeys and integrating these individual tasks into customer centric end-to-end journeys.
  • Lead the discussion around end-to-end customer experience and socialize across CS and GBU stakeholders.
  • Understands existing experiences and identifies opportunities for improvement.
  • Executes product experience validation process to ensure that HP’s products and services deliver against the value proposition and customer promise.
  • Lead cross-organizational serviceability governance
  • Your leadership and judgement will be critical in exploring new ways of serving the customer and analyzing investment choices
  • Drive new customer-facing initiatives through the development process, with an empathic focus on the end-user.
  • Lead design and architecture discussions across cross-functional teams.
  • Work with business teams and product teams to translate business requirements to customer requirements and specifications.
  • Work with print lifecycle project teams to break down requirements into executable Initiatives and Project Epics.
  • Enable clarity on customer experience-related non-functional requirements (usability, accessibility, performance, security, etc.)
  • Influence others across the organization to remain focused on support experience outcomes and deadlines.
  • Generate targeted presentations and reports for different internal and/or external audiences.
  • Collaborate with print Design and R&D to ensure products are designed/developed/tested as per requirements & quality expectations.
  • Monitor HP’s support experience compared to the competition and communicate requirements to meet / exceed business imperatives

Education And Experience Required

  • Bachelor's or higher in a related field – User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Graphic Design, Interactive Design, Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Science, Information Design, or the equivalent professional experience, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
  • Typically, 5+ years of professional experience as a User Experience, Product, or Interaction Designer; Information Architect; or similar with an extensive understanding of UX principles and heuristics, with product, program, or project management experience a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to present both visual and technical content to executive and non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to solve complex problems
  • Able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
  • A get-things-done attitude and willingness to put the needs of your team first
  • Experience with leading and driving end to end strategy and product support projects
  • Ability to mentor and lead teams to achieve results for complex, ambiguous projects.
  • Ability to communicate complex issues simply and convincingly to a wide range of audiences

Knowledge And Skills

  • You have experience in the creation of functional specifications and building plans to deliver

  • You can work well under pressure and know how to manage and prioritize workloads for yourself and your teams.
  • You have a history of innovation with examples of developing new technical, experiential, or pioneering programs or processes.
  • You initiate and foster relationships with other functional and business groups (internal and external)
  • Experience working with designers to create useful, usable, delightful products.
